Step 1. Tap the “Play Store” icon..

Sometimes the playstore icon can be found on the main applications menu. If so, go to the list of all applications and select playstore App.

When you tap playstore icon you will be taken to google play store homepage. Where you can select wide range of applications. But in this tutorial we are focusing on Truecaller. If truecaller is shown on the home page you can select it, instead of using the search box.

Step 2. Inside Google Play Store, type, “Truecaller” Into the search box. As you continue to press the keys, the dropdown will be populated with the results related to your input.

Step 3. Tap the first result that populates..

Step 4. On the Truecaller app page, tap the green “INSTALL” button..

After you tap install button the download starts immediately.

The download won’t take long. It depends with your internet speed. The file is not large so even on slow connection you should be able to download truecaller within a short period of time.

Step 5. On permission page Scroll through and tap, “ACCEPT”..
Step 6. Now True caller will install on your device, this may take sometime but if you’re in a fast connection its just a second.

When the app installation is complete, tap the green “OPEN” button..

Step 7. After you review both the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service., tap “GET STARTED”..

Enter your phone number and select your country code to continue.

After you select country code and enter your phone number, click continue.

Now truecaller will try to verify whether the number you have entered is the one on the phone. If this fails you will receive a message with a pin that you will be prompted to enter so as to confirm your phone number.

Enter the pin code from your messages, If the number wasn’t verified automatically.

As you can see below i have entered five digits. When you enter the last one(which is the sixth digit) True caller tries to verify, whether the code entered matches with the code that was previously sent to your phone. If they match the verification becomes successful, and the next window appears. Their is also a timer. that means the code should be entered before the time runs out.

The “successful” window appears after successful verification.

Step 8. Create your Truecaller profile. Choose either to Type First Name, Last Name And Email or sign in with Google or Facebook. In my case am choosing “Email Option”.

Step 9. Type First Name, Last Name And Email and click Continue.

These Details will be used to identify you on truecaller.

Step 10. Choose whether you want to backup calls history, contacts, messages etc. to google driver. Or choose later. Am choosing later.

Step 11. Now You Have Installed truecaller. This windows displays your latest call history, together with the latest identified numbers.
